Our Area Commissioner selected for Our World Centre in Sangam

Our West Coast Area Commissioner, Belinda Li, was selected as the Girl Guides Canada- Guides du Canada official nominee to the WAGGGS Leadership Development Project,Young Women Leading for a Greener Future in Pune (India) for young women from 42 countries across Europe, Africa, the Western Hemisphere and Asia.

Thinking Day 2012 - a special day for Girl Guides and Scouts around the world and especially in WCA

Burnaby North District held a Sustainability Evening with water to drink and apples to eat, stations to make postcards for the environment, a Recycle Relay, a useful bag made from newspaper and much more! It was loud, it was fun, it was low impact and we learned a lot.















A good time was had by all at New Westminster District's 46th Annual International Fair. The Bake Sale raised lots of money for Guiding. All of the girls brought wonderful goods to the sale. Every girl was on stage, singing, dancing, acting or talking. What a wonderful experience.
